“Whenever we can throw a party and invite our community to downtown Rockford to have fun while supporting local businesses, we’re all in,” said River District Board President John Groh. “Spook the Blocks is a family-friendly event where kids (and adults) can dress up, trick-or-treat at locally owned businesses, and maybe stop into a restaurant to enjoy a good meal or hot beverage or take advantage of a great deal or special at a new store. It’s a fun event that attracts families to the River District. We look forward to seeing the community dress up and have fun in downtown.”
