River District Association Elects New Board Members and Officers
ROCKFORD, IL – The Rockford River District Association is pleased to announce its elected new board members and officers. The RDA’s focus is to unite, advocate and promote efforts to create a thriving business and residential community in Rockford’s downtown neighborhood. The River District consists of business areas and residential neighborhoods east and west of the Rock River that encompass Rockford’s growing downtown.
“Great cities have vibrant and thriving downtowns; and great downtowns require organizations committed to their success and growth. The River District Association is organized and actively working to amplify downtown Rockford’s positive momentum while also advocating for the needs of its residents, businesses and visitors. The new board we have put in place is committed to the success of the River District and energized about the opportunities ahead of us,” said John Groh, RDA board president.
